After doing an analysis for the past four months of the Harper's Bazaar magazines, I have noticed that Punk trend has been featured in an equivalent amount of editorials and advertisements. It seems as if August and September featured the trend the most. I believe that the reasoning behind this was because of the Met Gala's Punk exhibit that took place this summer and because of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in September. In the month of October there was a significant decline of Punk editorials. However, in the month of November the editorials emerged again and the advertisements disappeared. Surprisingly in the December issue there were actually more advertisements and editorials then October and November. Seeing the decline in those two months I wasn't expecting to see any Punk fashion featured. The amount of editorials to advertisements were about even. I believe this is because they are closing out the Fall 2013 trends to get ready for the Spring 2014 trends. I don't see Punk being a huge spring trend considering the warmer months are approaching.
